I'm a new member of the WRMC.  In fact, I'm so new that I haven't yet filled out my membership paperwork...  I guess that makes me a prospective member. I ran into Richard (MX5MiataGuy) on 780tuners and he told me about all the really highly modified Miatas in the club so I thought this would be a good spot to post my own build thread where I could get advice and input from folks who have walked this path before me.

I have a Camry I will be driving when I get back to Edmonton. Since the Camry has been sitting all summer while I was driving the MX5, I noticed that the brakes were really bad when I drove it just before I left for Phoenix. They make a really bad grinding sound and take a lot of pressure on the pedal to stop. They were fine before I parked it for 5 months. The wheels were dirty from sitting so long, so I took it to a spray wash and hosed down the wheels and pads. Lately, I have been getting parts from Weber for the convenience, despite the lower discount offered. The service has been great. Parts have always come within two days.

Had I known this would happen, I would have made a different choice of dealerships to order this part.

My dad lives in Edmonton and need some rust repaired on his Jeep. Nothing major -- likely replace the front fenders and paint. I'm looking for an honest shop that does reliable quality work -- nothing show quality though. Anyone have suggestions?

Looks like I need to replace my battery on my '96.  The one I bought from Mazda two years ago won't take a charge this spring.  There was some previous discussions about an East Penn battery in pervious threads.  Is that still a good way to go?  I tried to call there today, but they don't seem to be open on the weekend.
