Hot off the press, Mazda Canada Inc. has ACTUALLY sent information to the Canadian Miata clubs early for the 2010 model year. Here's the synopsis:

Marble White = dropped
Crystal White Pearl begins August production (available in both soft-top and power-retractable hard-top models)

No other changes from 2009 to 2010 MY's.

2010 base prices:
GX @ $28,995
GS @ @33,495
GT @ $39,995

2010 option prices:
6-spd AT = $1,000 GX /...

And it's smaller than the MX-5. I can't see Mazda having 2 roadsters in their line-up. Maybe this is the smaller MX-5 that was rumoured at Miata World II.

Derek Jenkins has spent his entire professional design career within the walls of the VolkswagenGroup, first working on the Concept 1 (which became the New Beetle) under J Mays. After having also worked on the Audi A2, the Microbus concept, the GX3 , as well as the Passat Gold Coast and Eos Highway 1 concepts for Pebble Beach, Jenkins has retired from VW this month.

Richmond Hill, Ontario - Mazda Canada is reducing the manufacturer suggested retail prices for its 2009 models. The price reductions on the most popular vehicles range from $800 to $3,200, or 4% to 12%, compared to the 2008 models.
"The strength of the Canadian dollar has allowed us to repackage and reprice our 2009 models to strengthen the value equation…" said Mike Collinson, Director of Marketing and Vehicle Planning for Mazda Canada.
