			<description><![CDATA[ I'm looking to replace the POS aftermarket head unit in my '96.  Not looking to spend too much money, but wondering if anyone has come across units that would adjust volume as speed (or ambient noise) increases.  Seems this would be overly useful in a convertible . . . actually it is, I know Porsche has it in the Boxster. I know we all have our favourite brands that we like to support, but I throw this out to anyone who is in need of blank discs. I have found a pair of 5&quot; low-profile (about 1 1/2&quot; high)surface-mount speakers as I do not want to cut into any panel in case I change my mind.<br><br>Any suggestions where best to place them?<br>  <br>I could mount them:<br><br>1/ on the rear of each door panel (ugly?)<br>2/ between the rear seats on the vertical panel ... pop rivet with backing onto carpet(too close for stereo sound?) <br>3/ on each side of the transmission... ]]></description>
