Take a 4 day trip to Rossland BC in the heart of the Southern Kootenay's for great views, people and of course... the roads! (RESERVATIONS WILL BE REQ'D) 22 to 25 - MiataWorld II. Join several hundred of your Miata-kin in Texas to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of our beloved little car. Edmonton. __________ July Sunday 5 - EZCC / WRMC Autoslalom #3 on the 1.6km runway loop at C.F.B. Edmonton. Thursday 16 - Regular Meeting 7 pm Park Mazda, Sherwood Park Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 - Kicking Horse Rag-Top Run. A beautiful drive to Golden BC and the Kicking Horse Resort. (RESERVATIONS WILL BE REQ'D) __________ August Saturday 1 and/or Sunday 2 - Cold Lake Airshow. Attend a free airshow in Cold Lake to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of powered flight in Canada, the 85th Anniversary of the RCAF, and the 60th Anniversary of C.F.B. Cold Lake. Come celebrate the colours of fall with a drive to Seba Beach and back along our favourite route. Come watch, help, learn, etc all about a suspension change (shocks & springs) at Gery V.'s house. Posts: 3110 (03/06/09 11:52:23) Administrator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Based on the fact that we can no longer store half our pylons within 5min of the Parade Grounds at the former Griesbach Barracks, it seems that we'll be solely focusing our autoslalom efforts for 2009 for the runway loop at C.F.B. Edmonton (formerly the Namao airbase). Cheaper, larger, and altogether better for slaloming...with no fences to go through. The first date is now up. The club has eight new GRMS radios, replacing the older FRS ones that were slowly deteriorating (two dead within as many years and one only able to receive now). If anybody has any spare lanyards (strings for around your neck), say from past Edmonton Indy events, the Topless Sun Run, or what-have-you, they'd be appreciated in order to allow marshalls to hang a radio around their neck, lest any more of them get dropped / damaged. (Deadline for the July 5 slalom will be Thursday, June 25.) Once on the list, you're on there for the year...so no need to re-send your information. We have a Show 'n Shine date on August 22 -- being organized by Bob D. & Randy S. at the Alberta Aviation Museum (City Centre Airport). Come out and show your Miata off in a club display (and group photo opportunity surrounding the "Pacific Western" liveried Boeing 737 (and perhaps some of the other RCAF planes).
